Martin's Saddlery was started in 1979 by Martin Krizmanic, Sr., as a family-owned and
operated business with his two sons joining in subsequent years. Martin's oldest son,
Ivan, has taken over the business which specializes in the repair, manufacture, and sale
(both wholesale and retail) of quality, English Riding tack for horses. Ivan is known for
the quality of his halters, anatomical girths, racing loop lines, racing buckle lines, draw
reins, lead shanks, and more!
Martin's Saddlery also manufactures quality leather dog collars and leashes including
custom sizes. The leather dog collars are available in a range of sizes and custom sizes
are available on request. The leather dog leashes are available in 4 foot and 6 foot lengths
with a variety of widths and have braided or sewn ends.
The customers of Martin's Saddlery include a number of stables and retail stores in Ontario.
Some wholesale buyers have sold to owners and trainers of race horses. Martin's Saddlery
has also sold to the fine retailer of the Amish and Mennonites living in Wellington County
which is located in Southwestern Ontario. Recently, proud Canadians in Manitoba and
Alberta have chosen to support our Canadian business.
